Of this day shall we live

to tell the next thee;

Story of our Brave Soldiers

and the martyr were we;

along came kasab

as evil as can be;

& snatched and killed our dear ones

as merciless as he could be;

stood quiet and stunned the world on this madness

with all their eyes and me;

this horror called Terrorism

as ghastly as one can see;

I pray to god for all alike

for godness of heart and mind

let peace prevail , with love let all be free!!

Periyar National Park

The humongous Periyar trees - colossal!

The wildlife sanctuary surrounds the Periyar lake.
Chilled rain on the boat - rain with wind and we shivered like hell. The boat ride froze us completely.

Once we returned that year was also the year of the boat tragedy at the same place.
